Bonita Bay’s private Beach Club on Bonita Beach Road offers residents the perfect place to relax and enjoy sun, sand and azure waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Picnic pavilions with grills for cookouts and showers and restrooms are available. The Beach Club is a short drive from Bonita Bay or you can take the free beach shuttle just a few steps from the front door. The operates from November thru May every year, be sure to ask us for exact dates. You can use the beach year round and your guest pass allows you to park in the the beach club parking lot.
Bonita Bay’s restaurant overlooking the marina basin is open daily (during season) for lunch, dinner, snacks and cocktails. Menu specialties include seafood dishes, salads, sandwiches and much more.
Enjoy boating on the waters of the Estero Bay and the Gulf of Mexico from Bonita Bay Marina, Bonita Bay’s own full-service marina conveniently located on the Imperial River. The full-service marina offers boaters a fully stocked ship’s store, wet and dry slips as well as charter fishing, sightseeing cruises, bait, and fuel.
Bonita Bay is unique because it has two parks on the river, and one park on the bay. In addition to the many amenities of Bonita Bay, owners can also enjoy kayaking and fishing from the kayak launch ramp on Spring Creek from Spring Creek Park. Besides kayaking, Spring Creek Park also offers a bocce court, children’s playground, basketball hoop, walking paths and the specialty of Bonita Bay; fishing and nature. Grand Oak and pine trees have been carefully preserved to ensure shade and plenty of natural habitat for wildlife.
Riverwalk park is the home of 4 Pickle Ball courts, a basketball court, and the community boat ramp and kayak launch. In addition there is also a Christmas tree lighting celebration every year. If you are going to be renting our Wild Pines Condo during Christmas be sure to attend.
Located along Estero Bay in the Eagle Watch section, this park offers residents an historical, archeological and environmental perspective of many of the natural benefits of the area. A series of trails lead visitors past information stations identifying plants and animals, historic sites and archeological remnants. The park also includes an 800-foot boardwalk leading to Estero Bay, a screened pavilion, children’s playground, butterfly garden and picnic sites.
The lakes in Bonita Bay have Tarpon, Snook, and Largemouth bass. All available from the shore, we supply you with a map the shows which lakes to fish. In addition we also provide you with complete information on what lures to use and the the best spots for the time of the year you will be visiting.
